What are the configuration requirements for computer, VGA-adapter, CPU, memory and hard disks?

CDD/DVD-drive – for software installation.

VGA-adapter – any up-to-date adapter on PCI-Express (or AGP) bus. Either on-board VGA-adapter or a separate video card can be used. Please refrain from using the latest and greatest high-end VGA-adapters. For example, we were not able use Stream Alpha Plus PCI-E and ASUS EAX-7300 VGA-adapter in one computer. Perhaps, this happened due to the VGA-adapter drivers.

Processor type – Intel P4 or higher.

The rest of the parameters are defined by the software type installed. We recommend the following:

Alpha Pro – overall processor performance from 2,4 GHz, RAM - from 512 MB, one or more HDD.

TELE – overall processor performance from 3,0 GHz, RAM - from 512 MB, two or more HDD (one hard disk for operating system, the other ones for clips).

TELE Info – overall processor performance from 3,0 GHz, RAM - from 1 GB, two or more HDD (one hard disk for operating system, the other ones for clips).

You can view the actual CPU usage in Windows Task Manager “Performance” tab. The CPU usage must not reach 95-100% for extended period of time.
