8. Statuses and Visualization
This section consolidates information about the visualization of monitoring objects for the convenience of users. The same information is distributed across other sections of this document, presented alongside the description of the Status menu.
The status of an object is a combination of parameter values that indicate its condition. The goal of monitoring is to determine the statuses of monitoring objects through measurements and calculations, and to visualize that information — displaying decoded images, audio, and other content for quality assessment by the operator.
The visualized information is intended for display on screens and monitors at the workstations of specialists engaged in quality monitoring, troubleshooting, and related tasks. An example of a multi-monitor visualization setup using video walls is shown in Figure 228.

In MultiProbe, a monitoring object can be in one of two statuses:
- Alarm Event Present (alarm).
- No Alarm Event.
The configuration of alarm event templates is described in Section 5.3. Alarm events use a priority grading system for "danger" as outlined in Table 29. Visualization of statuses and decoded signals is achieved using the visualization tools described in Section 6.1.
MultiProbe provides various methods for viewing statuses and visualizing data. For user convenience, there is a Status screen and a toolbar, as shown in Figure 229. The toolbar is detailed in Section 3.5.
