8.2 Monitoring Screens

Active Alarms

The Active Alarms screen (Figure 232) provides an interactive view of all currently active alarm events, with the ability to filter by location.

To open: go to the Status screen and select Active alarms in the Monitoring state section.

The screen contains three areas:

  • List of active alarms (left) — all currently active alarm events.
  • Location tree (right) — select a location to filter the list to show only alarms from that location.
  • Priority statistics panel (top) — shows the count of active alarms grouped by priority (see Table 29). Click a priority name to toggle its display in the alarm list.

Clicking an alarm name opens the layout for the associated monitoring object for quick analysis. If multiple layouts are configured, a local menu appears for selection.

Program States

The Program Summary screen (Figure 233) provides an interactive overview of all monitoring objects and their current alarm statuses, with filtering by object type and by node.

To open: go to the Status screen and select Program Summary in the Monitoring state section.

The screen contains four sections:

  • Type — filter by monitoring object type (Figure 234).
  • Nodes — filter by node (Figure 235).
  • Alarm severity priority panel — real-time counts of objects grouped by alarm severity (Figure 236).
  • Monitoring objects list — a table with availability statistics and per-severity alarm breakdowns.

The classification of severity priorities is described in Table 29.

Alarm Severity Priority Panel

The panel shows in real time the number of objects in normal state and those with active alarms, categorized by severity. The total count of inactive objects is shown under the inactive objects icon icon.

Click a priority area name to toggle its display in the monitoring objects list. Multiple priorities can be selected simultaneously.

Monitoring Objects List

Column Description
Sign Status indicator — colored in the highest active alarm priority color for active objects; shown as inactive icon for inactive objects.
Name The name of the monitoring object.
Type The type of the monitoring object.
Node The node where the monitoring object is located.
Current status Number of active alarm events broken down by severity priority.
Availability (15 min/24h) Percentage of time the object was free of alarm events over the last 15 minutes and 24 hours.

A marker above the status sign controls which objects are shown:

  • — all monitoring objects.
  • — enabled (active) objects only.
  • — disabled (inactive) objects only.

Clicking a monitoring object name opens its layout for quick alarm analysis. If multiple layouts are configured, a context menu appears for selection. The Name, Service type, and Node columns support sorting and filtering.
