Installation

Rack Mounting

MultiTuner is a standard 1U 19" rack-mount device. Secure it using the provided rack ears and ensure adequate airflow — do not obstruct the side vents. The device draws minimal power and does not require forced cooling beyond normal rack ventilation.

Connections

MultiTuner connection overview

Make connections in the following order:

  1. Antenna — connect the feeder antenna cable to the RF input on the rear panel
  2. Network — connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port (to a switch, or directly to a server — see Network Connection)
  3. Power — connect the C14 power cord to a 100–220 V AC outlet

Powering On

Press the power button on the front panel. The status LED will briefly flash during boot and then turn steady green when the system is ready. Boot time is typically 30–60 seconds.

Tip

If the LED does not turn green within 2 minutes, check that the power cord is fully seated and that the outlet is live.

First Login

Once the device has booted, open a browser on any computer connected to the same network and navigate to the MultiTuner address.

Change the default admin password immediately after first login, especially in any network-accessible deployment.

By default, MultiTuner uses the static IP address 192.168.112.1. If your network uses a different subnet, or if you are connecting directly to a server rather than through a switch, see Network Connection before attempting to access the web interface.
