Overview
SL Optic is housed in a compact, sturdy enclosure designed for both standalone desktop use and rack installation. The unit ships with a mounting bracket already attached; remove it if deploying on a desktop or shelf.
Front Panel
All connectors, controls, and indicators are located on the front panel.

Channel-to-Port Mapping
Each SDI channel is permanently paired with the corresponding optical channel:

When an SDI port is set to In (receiving SDI), the paired optical port automatically becomes the output, and vice versa.
Rear Panel

Both external power supply units are included in the package. Each PSU has a standard IEC C14 inlet on the mains side and terminates in a round locking connector that plugs into the rear panel of the device. For redundancy, connect each supply to an independent power circuit.
Form Factor
SL Optic is a standalone unit that can be placed on a desktop, shelf, or mounted in a 19" rack using the included bracket.
Dimensions without bracket: 146 × 42 × 128 mm (W × H × D), weight approximately 0.5 kg.
1U Rack Chassis
Up to three SL Optic units can be installed in a dedicated 1U 19" rack chassis, each operating independently with its own power supplies.
The 1U rack chassis is available as a separate accessory. Contact Stream Labs sales to order.
